Job Description
Utility Pilot position in support of the Department of Defense in FT. Irwin, CA performing crew and equipment transport as well as external load missions (Feb - May).

Job Duties:

The helicopter will perform crew and equipment transportation services in a hot and high environment. The pilot is responsible for all aspects of the preflight planning, load manifest, mission execution and post-mission ops reporting. The majority of the missions will take place within the restricted airspace of the training facility. Note: position is temporarily available from February-May; extensions of that time frame might be possible.

Job Requirements

Commercial rotocraft helicopter license; current medical; current drivers license with clean driving record

Required Skills/Experience:

2000 hours RW PIC of which 250 hours must be in AS350; 100 hours RW PIC in last 12 months of which 10 hours RW PIC must be in AS350; proficiency in vertical reference.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Current Interagency card; 200+ hours of vertical reference; 25 hours of vertical reference in last 12 months.
