Work hours are flexible with our most aggressive instructors averaging more than 50 hours per month. We understand many new CFIs are just launching their career and we are able to help mentor you as you advance in your career. We have successfully been providing pilots to The Grand Canyon, The Gulf of Mexico, Helinet and others for the past 12 years.

Position Description

Immediate Duties - R22-R44 Tour Pilot.

Pay - $25-$40hr flight.

Additional Duties - Optional opportunity to provide flight and ground instruction for Part 61 and 141 flight school.

Additional Duties Based on Helicopter Time - Commercial flying - including Tours, Aerial Photo flights, Charters as you gain flight experience and grow with us

Training - New employees will be trained by senior staff in local airspace, tour routes, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Minimum Requirements:

400hrs Helicopters & R44 100hrs.

CFI / CFII.

SFAR 73 sign-off for R22 Helicopter instruction, required.

SFAR 73 sign-off for R44 Helicopter instruction, optional.

Completion of the RHC Safety Course.

Flight weight less than 180lbs.

Have exceptional communication skills and provide outstanding guest experience.

Speak with others using clear and professional language.

Able to communicate well with operations and maintenance team members.

Comply with FAA and Star Helicopters policies, procedures, expectations and regulations

Drug test and background check required.

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
