Job Description
The Maine Forest Service, a department of the state of Maine, is currently seeking an experienced technician to work on our Bell UH-1H, 407, and 206 helicopters.

The Maine Forest Service provides fire suppression services for over 17 million forested acres of land within the state. The fleet consists of 7 helicopters and 3 single engine fixed-wing aircraft out of a small airport in rural Maine. The majority of the work is performed in the hangar with minimal off-site work. If you're ready to slow down life a little and be home every night for dinner, this is the place for you. Being a state of Maine employee, you will have good health and retirement benefits, a great Monday through Friday schedule, 3 weeks of vacation, paid sick time, and 12 paid holidays per year. The quality of life that this position allows is hard to top in the aviation maintenance industry.
