Job Description
We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our family oriented Michigan Helicopter's team.  The ideal pilot / instructor will provide quality instruction, occasional tours, and other pilot duties. Pay above market standard and is commensurate on experience.   This is not an entry level or time building position.  Please email resumes ONLY.  No calls please. Performs ground work, office work, PIC OR SIC for flight operations.  Performs appropriate duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot  and operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with all appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Rotorcraft Flight Manuals, and Company Policies.  Pilot will maintains currency in the type of aircraft flown, proficiency in Part 91, Part 135 as appropriate to the position and current medical certificate in accordance with FAR Part 67. Pilot will maintain communications with crew, maintenance, and relevant office personnel.  Works must work well with maintenance personnel to maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition. Ideal candidate will conduct themselves in accordance with our company core values. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Must have recent helicopter piloting experience (within the past 12 months).  High School Diploma or equivalent.  R44 SFAR Required / Minimal 500 hours R44 time Required.  Turbine Experience preferred.  US Commercial Pilot License with Instrument or ATP Rotorcraft-Helicopter class rating.  FAA Medical – Second Class or higher.  Minimum of 1000 PIC hours required - Helicopter Time only. Fixed wing hours do not count towards this total. Instrument rating Required. Twin turbine aircraft Experience a plus.  Valid U.S. passport or ability to obtain one.  Must understand maneuvers, procedures, and emergency operations appropriate to the aircraft's individual characteristics.  Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Must live within 1 hour response time of base located in Waterford, Michigan.  Must have NO FAA accidents or incident history.  Must have no DOT / Driving related drug convictions. Must be of high moral character and standing.
