Planet Air Aviation is proud to announce a position available for Chief Pilot.  If you have at least 3 years of experience in a 135, great interpersonal skills, and love the Caribbean...we want to talk to you!!
Chief Pilot Duties: 
Our Chief Pilot Must FLY....and
1- Work with the Director of Operations on FAA compliance requirements
2 -Supervise flight crew personnel
3 -Conduct or supervise all training activities of flight crew personnel
4 -Ensure that all aircraft are property equipped for applicable operations 
5 -Communicate to crew members regarding NOTAMS, NAVAIDS, company policies, and regulations
6 -Maintain proficiency as Pilot-IN-Command
7 -Schedule flight crew members, including assigning Pilot-In-Command duties
8 -Prepare and maintain proficiency records, pilot files, flight schedules, duty time, records, reports, and correspondence pertaining to flight operations
9 -Maintain current operations manual in all aircraft
10 -Ensure that all flight crew personnel are certified and supervised according to the requirements specified in the Federal Aviation Regulations 
Base Salary plus per flight hour and wait time pay (Expect between $80K and $100) You are the scheduler...you decide!
Relocation Compensation up to $10,000
Job Requirements

Chief Pilot requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in the last 6 years as PIC on an aircraft operated under Part135
2,000hrs Total Time as PIC in Rotorwing 
1,000hrs in Turbine Time 
100hrs in Piston Rotorwing  
50hrs in Bell 206
50hrs in Bell 407 
100hrs in Robinson R44
100hrs Cross County
25hrs Night Time 
CFI,CFII and Instrument Rating (Not Required but preferred)
Commercial License  
Second Class Medical
Initial or Recurrent training from approve factory training center for the make and model (In House Training will not be accepted) 
BILINGUAL Spanish / English (If not bilingual have a willingness to learn)
