Job Description

Helicopters Inc. is the leading provider of Electronic News Gathering (ENG) in the United States, operating a fleet of Bell 206/407 helicopters across the country. Our Company currently has multiple openings for experienced Bell 206/407 flight instructors to assist in training and checking our large and rapidly growing team of Bell helicopter pilots located nationwide.

Part-time Bell Helicopter Flight Instructor

Regional Flight Instructors work a flexible part-time schedule training various pilots in their assigned region of the country. Positions are open throughout the country. Daily work load consist of both aircraft-specific ground and flight training/checking in Bell 206B3, 206L4 and 407 helicopters, as necessary. Occasional travel to our regional satellite bases is expected and required. 

                                  

Job Requirements

Minimum required: At least 3,000 Total Helicopter Flight Hours PIC

Minimum required: At least 1,500 hours as a Flight Instructor in Bell 206/407 series aircraft.

Minimum License: Commercial, Instrument, CFI
Preferred License: CFII, Advanced Ground Instructor

Proven background and recent experience in both flight and ground instruction in Bell 206B, 206L4, and 407 is required.

Qualified candidates will be afforded a completive compensation package including 2 weeks of paid vacation each year, health insurance, 401K, and participation in the Company's Stock Ownership Program (ESOP).
 

  • Commercial Helicopter Rating- minimum 5 years
  • Helicopter Instrument Rating required
  • Prior ENG Experience Preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
