Job Description

We are seeking to fill a CFI/CFII position at our flight school located in Long Island, NY, looking for a motivated Certified Flight Instructor for our growing team.

This position also includes, basic maintaining aircraft, administrative duties, and customer service. Must hold a current CFII and be able to instructor in a R22 and R44.

Optional Tour work, Surveys & Photo flight, as well as opportunity for join our 135 services


 
Job Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • FAA Commercial Helicopter (Rotorcraft) Certificate
  • Current FAA Class II (or higher) Medical Certificate
  • R22 -R44 SFAR
  • Minimum 200 hours Rotorcraft PIC
  • Minimum 50 hours PIC Robinson R22 and R44
  • Current in the Robinson R22/R44
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must
  • Must have a good personality and willing to work with the public
  • No accidents or violations.
  • Applicant must be able to understand and follow direction.
  • Must currently meet flight weight requirement of less than 190lbs..

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Certified Flight Instructor rating (CFI) in R22/R44
  • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument rating (CFII) in R22/ R44
  • Completed the Robinson Safety Course
  • PIC recent experience (last 90 days) in Robinson R22/R44
