Mountain Air Helicopters has an immediate opening for USFS Carded Relief Pilots to fly USFS / DOI Fire Contract. Relief Pilots will fill in for primary pilots, as the relief schedule permits. The typical schedule is 4 days of duty (relief) in a 14-day period.
Minimum requirements:
- 1500 hours total time
- 100 hours in the last 12 months
- 300 hours in AS350
- 200 hours mountain flying experience
- 50 hours long line experience
- Have or pass USFS flight evaluation.
Preferred Experience:
- USFS Carded Pilot
- Previous or current fire experience
- Solid vertical reference skills
Expenses paid (hotel, travel, rental car, Per Diem). Pilot will earn a daily pay rate, plus paid flight time. Daily rate commensurate with experience.
Candidate will need to complete company 135, 133, and 137 training at our base of operations. Position available as full-time possible. This is a great opportunity for a pilot flying on a schedule permitting additional commitment.
