Job Description

MRA is looking for a highly motivated CFII who is willing to create success for the students training in part 141 and 61 programs at Middle River Aviation. Our training courses are conducted in the Robinson-22 and Robinson-44 helicopters. CFII’s who are selected will be training Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, and CFII applicants under our proprietary syllabus and our partnering Aviation degree program, the Community College of Baltimore County.

Major Duties include but are not limited to:

Manage a high-volume student load.
Maintain and update individual training records.
Follow through on tasks requested by administration.
Conduct photo flights and maintenance flights with our organization as needed.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

Hold and maintain a Certified Flight Instructor and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument in rotorcraft category and helicopter class.
Hold and maintain at least a 2nd Class medical.
SFAR instructor endorsement for R-22 and R-44
Flight weight: Under 180 lbs.
Positive character and good communication skills
Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism both in and out of the workplace.
Minimum Flight Hours Required: 300
Flexible schedule and be available to work weekends.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Employment Type: Contractor

Work Schedule: Full-Time

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
