Job Description

Homestead Helicopters has an Immediate opening for an A&P mechanic with Bell 407& Bell 206L4 experience. We are currently looking for an employee that has USFS/DOI contract experience maintaining Bell Helicopters, as well as a CDL with HazMat endorsement will be required. Travel schedule for contract work will be required.  We currently have two burning contracts for the USFS and DOI burn contracts, as well as two fire contracts year round across the US that keep us active.  This is currently posted as a daily pay position with the option at the end of the season possibly becoming a permanent position.  Benefit package offered by Homestead Helicopters as well: 401K, Health, profit sharing.


 
Job Requirements
Possess A&P License with no enforcement action (2 + years)

Possess CDL or be able to obtain a CDL (Class B with Hazmat endorsements)
Must have 2 + years experience maintaining Bell 407 or Bell 407 school
Should have field experience on the Bell 407
Should have field experience on the Rolls Royce 250-C47B Engine
Must be able to obtain USFS/DOI card for Bell 407 (prior agency carded preferred)
Familiar with aircraft manufacturers’ maintenance manuals and STCs
Able to make proper log entries as required by the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
Able to work in a team environment, meet deadlines as necessary, and work independently with good time management and organizational skills
Bell 206L series maintenance background a plus
