### Job Posting: Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII)

Semper Fly Helicopters, a premier helicopter flight school, is dedicated to providing top-notch aviation training. We are now seeking a skilled Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) to join our dynamic team. We are proud to be partnered with Oklahoma University, enhancing our training capabilities and opportunities.

**Job Description:**
We are looking for an experienced and passionate CFII to provide high-quality instrument flight instruction to our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in helicopter operations, exceptional teaching skills, and a dedication to safety and student success.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide recommendations to the task lead for operations risk assessments and aviation safety mandates.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory and procedural changes in the flight training environment.
- Review flight training program courses; assist with the preparation of FAA Training Course Outlines (TCOs), curriculum updates, and the construction of degree and certificate programs.
- Gain and maintain instructor proficiency in the Cabri Guimbal G2 helicopter.
- Develop and execute tailored flight and classroom training sessions in accordance with the standards outlined in the FAA Flight Instructor Handbook.
- Provide recommendations for students to conduct solo flights and cross-country flights and to receive FAA certification practical tests.
- Prepare ground school lesson plans, maintain student and assigned CFI training folders, and complete required training entries in accordance with FAA and school requirements.

Job Requirements
**Qualifications:**
- Must be at least 18 years old, a high school graduate, and a graduate of an FAA-approved flight training program that produces a qualified pilot.
- Graduate of a military or civilian aerospace program that resulted in a CFI certificate or ATP certificate.
- Must have a minimum of one year of flight instruction time, hold a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate, and be able to pass at a minimum an FAA Class II medical examination.
- Must have a minimum of 400 hours total as a Certified Flight Instructor and 2 years of direct experience as a Certified Flight Instructor.
- Strong understanding of helicopter instrument operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Prior military experience or background in government contracting is a plus.
