As an Aviation Maintenance Technician at Apollo MedFlight, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of our fleet of aircraft. You will enjoy the stability of a 40 hour guaranteed workweek with paid overtime, and the flexibility of a rotating on-call schedule. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and providing necessary repairs to the EC145 aircraft or any other aircraft you may be assigned.
A day in the life:
- Will actively participate in the Integra and Apollo safety program.
- Performs maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which the Maintenance Technician is assigned and qualified.
- Approves aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance for which technician is authorized and qualified.
- Reports all inoperative or faulty equipment to the Director of Maintenance (or designee).
- Completes all paperwork for maintenance that is performed.
- Ensures that hangar workshops, and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
- Assists the Chief of Quality in maintaining technical manuals in a current status.
- Maintains an adequate tool kit.
- Will participate in Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) techniques and provide input where appropriate for operations decision.
- Will positively represent Integra Aviation & Apollo MedFlight to customers, employees and patients through action, behavior and communication.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
The background we are looking for:
- A&P Certificate (2+ years)
- Two or more years of rotor wing experience as a Maintenance Technician
- EC-145 experience (preferred)
- Bell 407 experience (preferred)
- EMS Experience (preferred)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation.
