Job Description
ROTAK Helicopter Services is a heavy lift helicopter operator that specializes in precision and production vertical construction activities. ROTAK is an Alaskan based nationwide helicopter company that specializes in transmission line construction, telecommunication, wildfire suppression, logging, mineral exploration, oil and gas, disaster relief and other general heavy lift activities.
ROTAK is hiring for full-time/permanent technicians with CH-47D experience to join our team in an exciting and rewarding workspace. Avionics and maintenance staff operate with a 2 week on / off rotational schedule. We are looking for applicants that have experience and a positive attitude. 
 
Can live anywhere within driving distance of major hub airport.

Job Requirements

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, valid for two years with no suspensions
  • Legal US work status
  • Current US driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain and hold DOT driver medical
  • Valid US Passport
  • Ability to travel and work remotely in CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Preferred minimum 4 years’ experience with avionics including troubleshooting electrical systems, radio installation, and system checks
  • Must have a minimum of six-months helicopter maintenance experience during the past 24 months
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs and climb ladders
  • Requires the ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, on-call and in remote locations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Inspection Authorization and additional FAA ratings is a plus.
  • Experience with other platforms such as K-MAX / MD500 a plus
  • USFS Carded
  • Manufacturer training or military equivalent on CH-47D
  • Structures / sheet metal experience
