This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Flight Operations professional looking for their next role in a dynamic global company. This role is based primarily in Perth, with some opportunity to travel throughout Australia.
 

The Head of Standards Australia is a newly created position; therefore, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of this role and provide a template for the future. The successful applicant will report to the Head of Flight Operations (HOFO), acting as their Deputy in support of the safe and efficient management of all elements in the Flight Operations Department.

Additionally, the successful applicant will coordinate and manage the standardisation of Flight Operations activities within Australia, through liaison with the International team, to ensure a program of continuous and best practice.

Job Requirements

The successful incumbent will have the following:

  • The ability to obtain CASA Head of Flight Operations approval
  • Previous Aviation Management experience
  • CASA ATPL
  • Previous experience as a Training Captain on a multi-engine IFR aircraft (preferably AW109, AW139 or S92)
  • Previous simulator training experience as an IOS operator

The following attributes would be an advantage:

  • Australian citizenship or the ability to live and work in Australia
  • Lead Auditor qualification

Based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate, we are looking at a salary band of AU$180,000 to AU$200,000 pa.
