Responsibilities 

The Helicopter A&P Technician provides onsite maintenance support for our AS350 helicopter including management of base inventory, planning and scheduling aircraft maintenance, maintaining the base technical library, and maintaining company owned ground support equipment 24/7 during scheduled days on duty. 

  • A pay rate of $58k- $68k/yr DOE (plus an on-site differential of $6,000 annually)
  • 24 on/6 off rotation

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic certificate
  • 5 years experience maintaining rotorcraft operated on an air carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate
  • 3 years of field maintenance experience maintaining Airbus AS350 series aircraft
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling skills
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
  • Ability and willingness to gain a thorough knowledge of the company’s General Maintenance Manual, SOP Manual, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Ability and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24/7 during the duty period assigned
  • Possess sound judgment and objectivity in critical decision-making situations
  • Possess honesty, integrity and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant aircraft

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current FAA Inspection Authorization
  • 10 years of rotorcraft field maintenance experience with an EMS operator
  • 5 years of experience maintaining Airbus AS350 series aircraft
  • Extensive experience with aircraft technical database and inventory programs

  • This position is offered for an EMS operating field base where one highly qualified technician maintains a complex single engine rotorcraft configured with state-of-the-art avionics and EMS equipment.
