EDUCATION: Have graduated from an accredited high school or
possession of a GED certificate.
five years of experience as an Avionics Technician/Airframe &
Powerplant Mechanic on turbine helicopters. Part 145 Repair
Station experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
(EQUIVALENCIES): Have completion of an Aviation
Electronics or Avionics technical program at a training school, trade school or
college may substitute for one year of the required avionics technician
REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Must hold a current
Airframe/Powerplant Mechanic Certificate and a Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) General Radiotelephone Operator License with
Ship Radar Endorsement or equivalent.
